Radio Southland is a Community Access radio station, supported by New Zealand On Air, and part of the Association of Community Access Broadcasters of Aotearoa (ACAB). We’re here to give our wider community a voice, particularly those people or groups whose interests are not covered by mainstream commercial operators. We also provide the opportunity for people who have always wanted to “give radio a go” to live their dreams. We are based in central Invercargill but cover the greater Southland region – including Bluff, Riverton, Winton and Mataura on 96.4FM. Our broadcasts are also available online via a livestream and many of our programmes are able to be enjoyed at your convenience as podcasts. Check our website for details. |
