​​Fresh FM is a non-commercial, not-for-profit radio service. We broadcast across the Nelson/Tasman region on 104.8, Eastern Golden Bay on 95.0 and in Blenheim on 88.9. We also have a low power FM transmitter covering inner Nelson city areas on 107.2.

It is the only Community Access station serving the Top of the South and employs 3.5 FTE staff.   Our main studio is in Nelson (at Founders Heritage Park) and we  have satellite studios in Motueka and Takaka. The remote studios are used for both live programmes and for pre-recording content for later use. 

​Access radio has often been described as ‘appointment listening’ – people tend to tune in when there will be something on that especially interests them. We have found that many of Fresh FM’s regular listeners also prefer to listen to Radio NZ National.
